Graphic Design

I have over a decade of experience as a graphic designer, working both in-house, and as an independent freelancer. My skills span a variety of disciplines, including logo and identity design, packaging, print collateral, and photographic art direction. I’ve worked for a diverse range of clients over the years, including Sega Europe, Nike, Interbrew, Marks & Spencer, and the University of Glasgow, and you can view a few examples of my work below:

MERINO TECHNICAL THERMALS

These wool base-layers were marketed as a natural, but still high-tech alternative to traditional synthetic fibre thermals. I combined futuristic typography with kraft board to give a mixed technological/natural feel, and used warm accent colours to convey the insulating quality of the garments. Die cut holes in the shape of ram horns not only provided a further reference to the origin of the fabric, but also allowed customers to get an impression of it's texture without having to open the box.
